Tim Hortons Issue Ann Whitely provided a verbal and written, statement of the problems, which need addressing, specifically: * on a 24-hour basis.... especially at night * "Caffeine crazed cowboys" * Order taking intercom blaring * Customers' car horns blaring for service; boom boxes * lights on parking lot * cars ignoring the stop sign, drag racing at night * pollution from idling cars * Inadequate parking at Tim Hortons * Hortons agreed to pick up garbage in neighbourhood, but they're not doing it. Reply Police response: they have only received 2 complaints regarding the noise since January, 2002. They have received 26 total complaints of which 14 have been from the staff regarding illegal parking. Neighbours need to call if there is a problem. |
